Paquita Gordon

Paquita Gordon starts her career as a DJ, promoter and artistic director in 2008, founding the collective “AV-Netwerk” between London, Berlin and Venice, where she stands out with a five-hour set in Piazza San Marco.
In 2013 in Sicily, she creates “il Vulcano”, running music festivals such as “Stereocybele” and “Capofaro Space & Sound”, and in 2016, she performs a twelve-hour radio broadcast in Stromboli with the participation of Roberto Cacciapaglia and Gigi Masin, presenting “Paroxysm”, an experimental set based on volcanic field recordings.
Her skill with the turntables leads her to perform at renowned museums and cultural centers such as the ICA in London, the MACRO in Rome, the PAC and Pirelli Hangar Bicocca in Milan.
She stood out at the 2017 and 2018 Design Week at Triennale di Milano with exclusive projects.
He has participated in all editions of Terraforma Festival, impressing at international events and clubs such as Berghain Panorama Bar, De School and Circoloco @ DC10.
With residency at Club Plastic Milano, Paquita has participated in international music tours and created an exclusive mix for Resident Advisor in 2018.
Her world, without borders, reflects her music: a tireless traveler who draws inspiration from every place she visits.
Her vinyl sets explore two strands: one cosmic and the other earthy.
The former navigates between psychedelia, spiritual jazz and dub, while the latter covers a wide club spectrum, from house and techno to dnb and trance, with immersive mixes.
Paquita’s musical research focuses on the tribal aspects of sound, celebrating the triumph of the ritual and collective dimension of the musical experience.
