What vision guides the musical selection for Sun&Snow’s 5th anniversary?

“Sun&Snow is synonymous with musical discovery. We not only seek to surprise our attendees with each act, but also to guide them through an evolutionary journey in which music is the protagonist. This year, we put the focus on house and the most outstanding selectors, always looking for that sound that provokes joy and evokes deep emotions. It’s a celebration of music, selected with the utmost care to tell unique stories in each set.”

In the face of musical changes, how do you maintain balance with the expectations of regular attendees?

“The essence of Sun&Snow remains intact. Although we introduce new sounds, many artists reflect the spirit of previous editions. Our festival evolves, but always preserving our DNA, that which is committed to innovation without forgetting our roots. This balance between the new and the familiar is what defines Sun&Snow, inviting everyone to be part of the musical avant-garde.”

How does Sierra Nevada influence the selection of artists and the musical experience of the festival?

“The location at almost 3,000 meters above sea level and the climatic conditions of Sierra Nevada challenge us, but also set us apart. This unique atmosphere not only attracts artists interested in being part of something pioneering in Spain, but also enriches the experience for everyone. The natural environment, the logistical advantages and the magic of dancing in the snow or under the sun make Sun&Snow an incomparable festival.”

To ensure a lineup that connects with a diverse audience, what is your strategy?

“Our festival is a meeting point for lovers of clubbing, sports and nature, and that is reflected in our lineup. The key is to understand who we are and what we want to convey, and then select artists that complement and enrich that vision. It’s a process of introspection and passion for what we do, always looking for that perfect connection with our audience.”

What are the biggest challenges in securing artists for the festival and how do you overcome them?

“Booking world-class artists involves navigating a competitive market of supply and demand. However, the reputation we have built and the unique experience we offer at Sierra Nevada have made this process increasingly easier for us. Each year, our efforts are rewarded with a lineup that not only meets, but exceeds expectations, reflecting the quality and spirit of Sun&Snow.”

Finally, are there any performances you are particularly excited to see this year?

“Each artist brings something special, and personally, I would like to experience every moment. But I would highlight Krystal Klear, Paquita Gordon and John Talabot, without detracting from the local talent that surprises us year after year. Choosing is difficult, but these acts promise to be memorable, each bringing their unique essence to the magic of Sun&Snow.”
